Stuff that Caught My Eye

I'm helping an old and wonderful friend's soon to be sister in law design her wedding invitations at the moment (as in I am doing the design of them!) so I have weddings on the mind - weddings are such a wonderful time for anal people like me - its got to match and the theme has to flow!  Love the yellow theme through the one above (surprising yes?!!) and also the photographers presentation of the details.  I LOVE capturing the little details (and am enjoying giving ideas and creating a harmonious theme for Nettie! vintage lace...lovely!) Seeing this wants to me to go out and find a wedding to photograph.  Bit hard, seeing as I live in the middle of nowhere!

Another wedding pic, but this time its more about the different perspective - the way that the left hand image is composed - again catching the details I guess - the flowers, the lovely colour of the dress and the jewellry.  So the focus is on the details and not on the person...love it!

Great framing and layout of blown up photos!!  These are just plain glass frames with clips that hold the glass and backing together (from Ikea I think? wonder if available in Australia?) Brilliant way to showcase some favourite photos!

  3. sorry guys, didn't have email notification of comments! Amy, will email you the raft of ideas that I collected for Nette (got her motivated to cement her ideas!) and Di - I am sure that the original blog got these pic frames from Ikea - love the idea but have a box of empty frames already (such a slacker aren't I!) but would love to see if you find them!

  4. I am almost positive they are ikea. I have seen the frames before they aren't hard to get. Maybe even big W. I think I could have some like that - just need to study my walls!
